A Brilliant Day of Latin at Mossbourne Community School!

We had the pleasure of delivering our Latin Language Workshop at Mossbourne Community School last Friday — and what a day it was! The students were nothing short of exceptional: focused, hardworking, and genuinely made of stern stuff. They tackled challenging material with maturity, curiosity, and impressive resilience.

Our workshop took a holistic look at the full specification, giving students a clear picture of how every element of the course connects. We then zoomed in on the demanding 8- and 10-mark extended questions, sharing proven strategies for planning, structuring, and supporting top-band responses. To round things off, students worked through a full examination paper — putting their new techniques straight into practice in a realistic, supportive setting.

And the learning didn't stop at the school gates. Every student left with a tailored take-home pack to power their revision, including laminated storyboards, exam tips and revision strategies, a dedicated booklet — and a goodie bag to keep the momentum going!

Huge thanks to Mossbourne Community School for such a warm and generous welcome. A special mention goes to the staff, who looked after us superbly all day — from much-appreciated coffee and biscuits to a delicious fish and chip dinner! Their hospitality made the whole day shine.

It was a true privilege to work with such committed students and supportive staff, and we very much hope to return to Mossbourne soon.
